Welcome to St. Augustine Parish

Serving Montpelier, Vermont

The history of St. Augustine Church in Montpelier is rich in people, in pride, in tradition, and in devotion. It is a remembrance of God celebrated for over a century, in a church constructed of Vermont granite, built by Vermont Hands.

Our Parish Mission:

To Love as Jesus loved.
‘Love has hands to help others. It has feet to hasten to the poor and needy. It has eyes to see misery and want. It has ears to hear the sighs and sorrows of others. That is what love looks like’.

– Saint Augustine of Hippo 354 AD – 430 AD
